Jim Waters Insurance was estabilished on September 15th of 1984 by Jim Waters. Jim began his insurance career as a Safeco claims adjuster for the Canyon County area after graduating from college in 1969. Eight years later Jim joined the Bob Sample-Jim Palmer Agency where he worked as an agent for seven years before starting his own company.

Since the agency was founded over 25 years ago, it has continued to grow and meet the insurance needs of the surrounding valley. Jim and his team of five outstanding agents represent several professional insurance companies, some of which are local to Idaho, such as United Heritage P & C and Gem State Insurance. Combined, Jim and his staff have over 55 years of insurance experience!
